1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the mobile game “Netherworld Inc.: Dungeon Division” and related services (the “Service”) provided by Dudungsil Games (the “Company”), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users.
2. Definitions
- User: a person who uses the Service under these terms
- Game account: an anonymous account created when the game is first launched. It can be linked to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iOS).
- Paid product: an in-game product purchased through Google Play or App Store in-app purchase
- Mana Gem: a currency used in the game. There are paid Mana Gems purchased as paid products and free Mana Gems received through gameplay and events.
- Purchase box: the in-game storage where purchased paid products and pass and supply rewards arrive
3. Posting and amendment of the terms
The Company posts these terms on its website (dudungsil.com/terms/) so that users can check them at any time. The Company may amend these terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws, and if it does, it will announce the effective date and the changes at least 7 days before the effective date. Changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
A user who does not agree to the amended terms may stop using the Service and delete their account. If the Company, when giving notice, clearly states that a user who does not express refusal will be deemed to have agreed, and the user does not refuse by the effective date, the user will be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms.
4. Formation of the service agreement
The service agreement is formed when a user downloads the game from a store, launches it and begins using the Service under these terms. The Service is free to use, and some products are paid.
5. Use by minors
A minor needs the consent of a legal guardian to purchase paid products. If a minor makes a purchase without the consent of a legal guardian, the minor or the legal guardian may cancel the purchase. However, cancellation may be restricted if the purchase was made within the scope of property the legal guardian allowed the minor to dispose of, or if the minor used deception to make others believe they were an adult or had consent.
6. Management of game accounts
Game progress is saved on the device and backed up to the cloud when the user signs in to a platform. Without platform sign-in (as a guest), progress cannot be recovered if the app is deleted or the device is reset or lost. Users must manage their linked Google or Apple accounts themselves and may not transfer, lend or sell their accounts to others.
Cloud backups can be restored only between devices running the same operating system; transfer between Android and iOS is not provided.
7. Provision and changes of the Service
In principle, the Company provides the Service year-round without interruption. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, server failures or circumstances of store and platform operators; where advance notice is possible, the Company will give notice in the game or on the website.
The Company may change game content as needed for operational or technical reasons. If the content or conditions of use of a paid product change unfavorably for users, the Company will give advance notice and take the measures required by applicable laws.
8. Termination of the Service
If the Company ends the Service, it will announce the end date, the reason and how paid products will be handled through in-game notices and the website at least 30 days before the end date. Unused paid products and products with remaining periods will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and the payment and refund guide.
9. Purchase of paid products
Paid products can be purchased only through Google Play or App Store in-app purchase, and payment and billing are handled by each store. Products are not sold on the website. Prices are displayed on the store purchase screen in Korean won, including value-added tax.
Before purchase, the Company displays the product name, price, contents, purchase limits, period of use and whether withdrawal is available on the in-game shop screen. A purchased product is delivered to the purchase box after the Company’s server confirms the payment with the store, and is applied to the account when the user claims it from the purchase box. Automatically renewing subscription products are not sold.
10. Mana Gems
Mana Gems can be used for hiring, instantly completing hatching, expanding gear storage and similar purposes. When Mana Gems are spent, free Mana Gems are used first and paid Mana Gems afterward. Mana Gems cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account or another operating system.
If a purchase is refunded, the paid Mana Gems received from that purchase are reclaimed, and if they have already been used, use of Mana Gems may be restricted until the amount to be reclaimed is made up.
11. Random items
The game contains random items, such as job postings, whose results are determined by probability. In accordance with the Game Industry Promotion Act, the Company discloses the types and odds of random items in the in-game odds information (such as “Hire odds details” on the hire screen) and on the website’s odds information page, and gives advance notice when odds change.
12. Rewarded ads
The game may offer rewarded ads that users watch when they choose. Watching ads is optional, and the reward types and daily and weekly viewing limits are shown in the game. If an ad does not play to the end or cannot be loaded, the reward may not be granted. Users who own “Manager Perks” can receive ad rewards without watching.
13. Withdrawal of offers and refunds
Withdrawal of offers and refunds for paid products follow the payment and refund guide (in Korean) and applicable laws such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. Store refund policies do not limit users’ statutory rights.
14. Obligations of users
Users must not do any of the following.
- Using another person’s account or payment method without permission
- Using the game with programs not permitted by the Company, modified apps or macros
- Intentionally exploiting game errors (bugs), or knowingly using them without reporting them to the Company
- Abusing the payment system, such as repeatedly requesting refunds after payment
- Attacking servers or accessing or analyzing them without authorization
- Trading game accounts or items for cash or similar consideration
- Infringing the intellectual property rights of the Company or others
15. Restrictions on use
If a user violates the obligations above, the Company may, depending on the severity of the violation, take measures in the following order: warning, suspension of use for a certain period, reclaiming currencies and rewards obtained improperly, and permanent suspension. When taking measures, the Company will notify the user of the reason, scope and period by email or in the game, and the user may file an objection within 15 days of receiving the notice. The Company will review the objection and notify the user of the result.
A legitimate withdrawal or refund request is not a reason for restricting use.
16. Account deletion
Users may delete their account at any time under Settings → Delete Account & Data in the game, and if they cannot use the app, they may request deletion by email following the account and data deletion guide (in Korean). Deletion permanently removes game progress, currencies, staff and gear, and any paid products and entitlements held, and they cannot be recovered. Account deletion is not a purchase cancellation or refund, so if you need a refund, please request it before deleting.
17. Intellectual property rights
Rights to the images, music, text, programs and other materials included in the game and the website belong to the Company or the rightful owners. Users may not copy, distribute, adapt or commercially use them without the Company’s permission.
18. Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for failure to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters or service failures of stores, platforms or telecommunications providers. The same applies to damages caused by reasons attributable to the user, such as negligent device management or deleting the app while in guest status.
However, this clause does not limit the Company’s liability for damages caused by its intent or negligence, or consumers’ rights under applicable laws.
19. Dispute resolution and jurisdiction
Disputes related to use of the Service will first be discussed through customer support ([email protected]). If discussion is difficult, users may use dispute mediation by relevant organizations such as the Korea Consumer Agency (1372 Consumer Counseling Center). If litigation is necessary, it will be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act, and the laws of the Republic of Korea apply to these terms and the use of the Service.
20. Effective date
These terms take effect on October 21, 2026. The preparatory draft posted earlier never took effect and is replaced by these terms.
